Week 8

Goals

For all:

• Tonight I need you to tell me (1) thing about our robot. It can be anything, but not the same as another person. You may have some specialized knowledge if you are building, programming, driving, or documenting.

Programming:

• Find True / False values for color sensor in Auto Mode

  • Test with additional color sleeves to see if the same information is present on each one

Build Team:

• Finish Gripper Assembly; attach and potentially program on the robot

• Finish the Vertical Lift Assembly & attach Servo motor to assembly / test

Documentation Team:

• Start Gathering information about our robot & start a portfolio / board

• Start laying out questions / answers about our robot

Drive Team:

• Continue practicing 2:30 'runs' and see how many cones we can score.

• We need to work on / complete auto mode with color sensor next week!

• We need to work on necessary items for competition:

  • Blue / Red alliance markers

  • Team letters

  • Discussion about team capping object (need red & blue one!)

• We need to clean up wiring (after we determine if we will lift or not!)

• Lift was not successful - servo motor was not working! Will test by next week.
